This design pays tribute to the exquisite Zulu women of South Africa.  In a culture dominated by men, I wanted to showcase the beauty and elegance of these Queens of Africa.
The beaded surrounds, pay tribute to the incredible beadwork of their traditional jewery, while the surrounding colored gemstones represent, faithfulness, contentment and promise.
