This is a fantastic specimen of Goboboseb Amethyst hailing from the Erongo region on Namibia.
It has been capped in a textured sterling silver cap which is reminiscent of both the sand and the night sky of this incredible region.
The crystal is almost 2 inches wide and an inch long.  The striations and phantoms are incredible with a subtle purple hue.
