This shell pendant is one of a kind and it’s construction has spanned two continents.
It started life in Africa, in my rudimentary studio at the southern tip of Africa, where I used just a few tools and the ancient art of chasing and repousse.
Fast forward two months later, to my studio in California where the pendant came to life.
It is a hollow form fine silver sculpture with additional fine silver drops added to it.
The chain has been hand forged from heavy gauge silver and can be worn on its own. A beautiful Herkimer diamond adds a touch of sparkle.
Chain is 22 inches, excluding the shell, which is 2” by 1.5”
