Kiboko - which means Hippo in Swahili, translates into “the ferocious one”
What a labor of love this Hippo turned out to be.
Getting the character to show through while carving directly into the silver is really tough but so rewarding when it’s all said and done.
The chain is hand forged out of thick gauge sterling silver and has a capped raw tsavorite gem on it.  Three 18kt gold drops adorn the sterling cap.
Chain length is 20 inches which includes the hippo.
