This ring was inspired by the shapes of the African headrests that I have collected.
The ring was carved out of wax and then cast in sand in my studio - during casting I sprinkled a little of the Namib desert sand in the mold.
The molten silver was then poured, encapsulating some of the desert sands within it.
The ring will fit a size 7.5 finger best
