This sterling silver Mermaids purse or sharks egg has an added dark Patina.
Inside the hollow form is a sterling silver “egg” which gives the piece a lovely little rattle.
The hollow form was completely formed by hand from sheet silver and fused closed by adding sterling silver.
The dark mermaids purses can be polished to be bright silver, if preferred.
