The inspiration for this piece came about while paging through one of my favorite books about African art.
The relationship between Christianity and Africa reflects a complex interplay of history, culture, and religious dynamics which I hope to showcase in this piece.
The sterling silver “cross” has been hand forged as have been the sterling tube beads.  Vintage African brass beads have been added to the chain.
The sterling silver chain is 20 inches long and can be adjusted to 22”
The Crucifish is 2” x 1.5”
